Each quarter of the year we choose a non-profit to support.
Restaurants Care’s mission is to provide support for our restaurant families in need by offering financial assistance for basic living expenses as people recover from an injury, illness, death in the family, or unseen hardship. We are investing in our current workforce, the heart of our community, restaurant workers in their time of need. Restaurants Care is a foundation of the California Restaurant Association. www.restaurantscare.org
The Independent Restaurant Coalition (IRC) was formed to save the local restaurants affected by COVID-19. IRC was founded on the simple belief that there is power to affect legislative change if we unite our voice.
Together, we represent 500,000 small businesses across this country, playing a key role in the $1 trillion restaurant industry, which represents up to 4% of the nation's GDP.
For the 11 million people across the country employed by independent restaurants — and the millions of workers up and down the food supply and delivery chain who depend on our restaurants — these small businesses cannot fail.
The Restaurant Employee Relief Fund (“Fund”) was created to help restaurant industry employees experiencing extraordinary hardship in the wake of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. Through this Fund, grants will be made to restaurant industry employees who have been impacted by COVID-19, including a decrease in wages or loss of employment. Grants will be awarded as soon as possible to those individuals who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, as reviewed and verified by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF). This Fund is operated by the NRAEF, whose mission is to attract, empower and advance today’s and tomorrow’s restaurant and foodservice workers. -
The USBG (United States Bartenders' Guild) National Charity Foundation was sparked into being when a United States Bartenders' Guild member dared to ask “how do I get out of this industry alive, with my health, a little money, and my sanity intact?” Shaken by this candid outlook on our industry, we committed the Foundation’s mission to advance the lifelong stability & wellbeing of service industry professionals through education & charitable activities.
We at the USBG National Charity Foundation strive to achieve our mission through three programmatic pillars: Social Responsibility (Health & Wellness: physical, financial, and mental), Community Service, and Philanthropy.
